Im very interested in the Guards Armoured Division, when it was part of VII Corps then later XXX Corps. Im interested, cause My Grandad 'W/Sgt 821496 Frederick William Ward', served in 21st anti tank regt RA. I was very pleased to see an M10 Tank Destroyer in this video. With the 77 and Guards Armoured Division Logo on the tank. If anyone has any information on who own the vehicle, could you please reply to my comment here. As I would love to know if it was a part of My Grandads unit, or if the owner had a relative in the Regt, and painted the Corp and Division colours on after restoration. Knowing a friend who spent years on a WW2 restoration. I can see how precise the restoration can be. Having the actual vehicle match its unit etc. Whether it is or isn't from my Grandads unit, is not a worry, cause Id still like to get in contact with the owner please.
